Alex Horn · Founder
Alex Horn has worked in the property industry for over a decade, building a track record in property investment and development with a focus on originating, structuring and executing transactions that deliver real commercial returns. Having built his career through periods of economic volatility, Alex has developed a reputation for clear judgement, resourcefulness and the ability to create value in challenging market conditions.
His experience spans strategic land, planning-led projects, income-producing assets and redevelopment opportunities, across the full investment lifecycle: from identifying opportunities and shaping strategy through planning, repositioning and asset management, to delivering outcomes through structured exits.
That track record led to the creation of Layer Eight Investments: a focused, execution-led business combining disciplined strategy with hands-on asset management and a clear emphasis on delivering realised value.
